Key takeaways from MOVE 2024

This year’s MOVE conference was rich with information and discussions across various topics. Despite some trends suggesting a potential downturn in e-mobility, this topic remained the most recognized and highlighted. Here are our key takeaways:

  • Comprehensive coverage of e-mobility: E-mobility was extensively discussed not only in dedicated stages such as infrastructure, electric vehicles, and energy and charging, but also in more general sessions like fleet and commercial vehicles, last-mile delivery, and bus and public transport.
  • Focus on the ecosystem: The discussions on e-mobility extended beyond the vehicles themselves, emphasizing the entire ecosystem required for a successful transition. This included addressing charging challenges and the importance of developing a future-proof infrastructure to support cost-efficient EV operations.
  • Collaboration among stakeholders: Electrification necessitates collaboration among various stakeholders, including OEMs, CPOs, eMSPs, energy companies, and fleet managers. MOVE provided an ideal platform to come together and advance our collective goals, with significant representation from each sector.
